Peppercorns - Food Service Range:
· Black Peppercorn: Harvested when the berry is not ripe, the black peppercorn is endowed with a strong essence and a peppery, hot flavor that is slightly sweet.
· Green Peppercorn: Is hand-picked and often preserved in brine until freeze-dried. The green peppercorn has a mild, slightly fruity flavor and is not as spicy as the black of white pepper.
· Pink Peppercorn: Originating from the Schinus terebinthifolious plant, the pink peppercorn is not considered to be a true pepper. Growing on a Similar vine in the Isle of Reunion, off the coast of Madagascar, the pink berries endow a mild, sweet taste.
· White Peppercorn: This fully ripened berry, smaller and less pungent than the black peppercorn, has a smooth and mild flavor.
